The Best Extractors
Para's new Power Extractor (or PXT™) eliminates the weakest link in the original design of the 1911. The massive claw of the Power Extractor, right, is 50% larger than a conventional extractor, left, giving you positive feeding and extraction every shot.
The Best Reliability
During research and development of the Power Extractor, we took a barrel and machined rings in the chamber so that when a round was fired the case could not come out. When the pistol was fired, the PXT did not pull off the lodged case, instead it ripped right through the rim. If the case had been a normal stuck case, it would have come out of the chamber, preventing a double feed.

The new Para Lite Hawgs have an integral light rail, so you can positively identify your target in low light. The Lite Hawgs give you a choice of ten rounds of .45 ACP or a dozen rounds of 9mm in the magazine. The X2 combination mini-light and laser from Insight Technology is sold separately.

This means that we will provide the original retail purchaser of any one of our pistols with all necessary service, free of charge, for the lifetime of the pistol, where adjustment or repair is required due to some defect in materials or workmanship.

The Best Grips
Para uses only premium cocobolo for our wood stocks. Cocobolo has twice the density of walnut making it the wood of choice for the best handgun stocks. Its natural color ranges from red-orange to deep burgundy. We checker it with the classic double-diamond pattern and insert the Para gold medallion in the center of the stocks.
